XI. Thanksgiving / Praise

Luke 2:20
And the shepherds returned, glorifying [doxazo:magnifying] and praising [aineo] God for all they had heard and seen, as it had been told them.
Luke 17:16
And he fell on his face at Jesus' feet, giving him thanks [eucharisteo] . Now he was a Samaritan. Then said Jesus, "Were not ten cleansed? Where are the nine? Was no one found to return and give praise [doxa: glory, worship] to God except this foreigner?"

To the praise [epainos] of his glorious grace which he freely bestowed on us in the Beloved.

We who first hoped in Christ have been destined and appointed to live for the praise [epainos] of his glory. Rev. 19:5
