And the children of Israel did evil in the sight of the Lord,
and served Baalim: And they forsook the Lord God of their

Lord to anger.

the children of Israel in Egypt, when he smote the Egyptians,
and delivered our houses.
- Exodus 13:14 (command to teach history)

righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly
furnished unto all good works.
- Matthew 7:24,26 (teach child to apply what is known)
-
Therefore whosoever heareth these sayings of mine, and doeth
them, I will liken him unto a wise man, which built his house
upon a rock. And every one that heareth these sayings of mine,
and doeth them not, shall be likened unto a foolish man, which
built his house upon the sand.
- 2 Peter 1:5-7 (character development should be goal)

Art thou called being a servant? care not for it: but if thou
mayest be made free, use it rather. For he that is called in the

with a price; be not ye the servants of men.
