The Father loves [agapao] the Son, and has given all things into
his hand.
- John 5:20

For the Father loves [phileo] the Son, and shows him all that he
himself is doing; and greater works than these will he show him,
that you may marvel.
- John 10:17

For this reason the Father loves
[agapao] me, because I lay down
my life, that I may take it again.
- John 14:31a
-
But I do as the Father has commanded me, so that the world may
know that I love
[agapao] the Father.
- John 15:9-10
-
As the Father has loved [agapao]
me, so have I loved [agapao]
you; abide in my love
[agape].
If you keep my commandments, you will abide in my love
[agape],
just as I have kept my Father's commandments and abide in his love
[agape].
- John 17:23-24
-
I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so
that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved
[agapao]
them even as thou hast loved
[agapao] me. Father, I
desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me
where I am, to behold my glory which thou hast given me in thy
love [agapao]
for me before the foundation of the world.
- John 17:26
-
I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that
the love [agape]
with which thou hast loved
[agapao]
me may be in them, and I in them.
- Col. 1:13
-
He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and
transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son (Son of the
love [agape]
of Him.)
