Mark 10:21

And Jesus looking upon him loved [agapao] him, and said to him, "You lack one thing; go, sell what you have, and give to the poor, and you will have treasure in heaven; and come, follow me."

John 3:16,19

For God so loved [agapao] the world that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. And this is the judgment, that the light has come into the world, and men loved [agapao] darkness rather than light, because their deeds were evil.

John 11:3

So the sisters sent to him, saying, "Lord, he whom you love [phileo] is ill."

John 11:5

Now Jesus loved [agapao] Martha and her sister and Lazarus.

So the Jews said, "See how he loved [phileo] him!"

John 13:1

For the Father himself loves [phileo] you, because you have loved [phileo] me and have believed that I came from the Father.

I in them and thou in me, that they may become perfectly one, so that the world may know that thou hast sent me and hast loved [agapao] them even as thou hast loved [agapao] me. Father, I desire that they also, whom thou hast given me, may be with me where I am, to behold my glory which thou hast given me in thy love [agapao] for me before the foundation of the world.

John 17:26

I made known to them thy name, and I will make it known, that the love [agape] with which thou hast loved [agapao] me may be in them, and I in them."

John 20:2

So she ran, and went to Simon Peter and the other disciple, the one whom Jesus loved [phileo], and said to them, "They have taken the Lord out of the tomb, and we do not know where they have laid him."

John 21:7

That disciple whom Jesus loved [agapao] said to Peter, "It is the Lord!" When Simon Peter heard that it was the Lord, he put on his clothes, for he was stripped for work, and sprang into the sea.

John 21:20

Peter turned and saw following them the disciple whom Jesus loved [agapao], who had lain close to his breast at the supper and had said, "Lord, who is it that is going to betray you?"

Romans 5:5

And hope does not disappoint us, because God's love [agape] has been poured into our hearts through the Holy Spirit which has been given to us.

Romans 5:8

But God shows his love [agape] for us in that while we were yet sinners Christ died for us.

Romans 8:35,38-39

Who shall separate us from the love [agape] of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? Romans 9:13

Gal. 2:20

Eph. 3:17-19

And that Christ may dwell in your hearts through faith; that you, being rooted and grounded in love [agape], may have power to comprehend with all the saints what is the breadth and length and height and depth, and to know the love [agape] of Christ which surpasses knowledge, that you may be filled with all the fulness of God.

Eph. 6:23

Peace be to the brethren, and love [agape] with faith, from God the Father and the Lord Jesus Christ.

Col. 1:13

He has delivered us from the dominion of darkness and transferred us to the kingdom of his beloved Son (Son of the love [agape] of Him.)

2 Thes. 3:5

May the Lord direct your hearts to the love [agape] of God and to the steadfastness of Christ.

Titus 3:4-5a

But when the goodness and loving kindness [philanthropia] of God our Savior appeared, he saved us, not because of deeds done by us in righteousness, but in virtue of his own mercy.

1 John 3:1

See what love [agape] the Father has given us, that we should be called children of God; and so we are. The reason why the world does not know us is that it did not know him.

1 John 3:16-17

By this we know love [agape], that he laid down his life for us; and we ought to lay down our lives for the brethren. But if any one has the world's goods and sees his brother in need, yet closes his heart against him, how does God's love [agape] abide in him?

1 John 4:7-12

Beloved [agape], let us love [agape] one another; for love [agape] is of God, and he who loves [agape] is born of God and knows God. He who does not love [agape] does not know God; for God is love [agape]. In this the love [agape] of God was made manifest among us, that God sent his only Son into the world, so that we might live through him. In this is love [agape] , not that we loved [agapao] God but that he loved [agapao] us and sent his Son to be the expiation for our sins. Beloved [agape], if God so loved [agapao] us, we also ought to love [agapao] one another. No man has ever seen God; if we love [agapao] one another, God abides in us and his love [agape] is perfected in us.

1 Jn. 4:16-21

So we know and believe the love [agape] God has for us. God is love [agape], and he who abides in love [agape] abides in God, and God abides in him. In this is love [agape] perfected with us, that we may have confidence for the day of judgment, because as he is so are we in this world. There is no fear in love [agape], but perfect love [agape] casts out fear. For fear has to do with punishment, and he who fears is not perfected in love [agape] . We love [agapao] , because he first loved [agapao] us. If any one says, "I love [agapao] God," and hates his brother, he is a liar; for he who does not love [agapao] his brother whom he has seen, cannot love [agapao] God whom he has not seen. And this commandment we have from him, that he who loves [agapao] God should love [agapao] his brother also.

Jude 1:1-2

Jude, a servant of Jesus Christ and brother of James, To those who are called, beloved [agapao] in God the Father and kept for Jesus Christ: May mercy, peace, and love [agape] be multiplied to you.

Rev. 3:9

Behold, I will make those of the synagogue of Satan who say that they are Jews and are not, but lie—behold, I will make them come and bow down before your feet, and learn that I have loved [agapao] you.

Rev. 3:19

Those whom I love [phileo] , I reprove and chasten; so be zealous and repent.

Rev. 20:9
