born of the [Pneuma] Spirit is spirit. Do not marvel that I said
to you, 'You must be born anew.' The wind blows where it wills,
and you hear the sound of it, but you do not know whence it
comes or whither it goes; so it is with every one who is born of
the [Pneuma] Spirit." Literally: Answered Jesus, Truly, truly I
say to you, Except one receive birth of water and Spirit, not he
is able to enter into the kingdom of God! That receiving birth,
from the flesh, flesh is. And that receiving birth from the
Spirit, spirit is. Do not wonder because I told you, must You
receive birth from above. The Spirit where he desires breathes

Spirit.

And I will pray the Father, and he will give you another

-
Nevertheless I tell you the truth: it is to your advantage that
I go away, for if I do not go away, the Counselor [parakletos]
will not come to you; but if I go, I will send him to you. And
when he comes, he will convince the world concerning sin and
righteousness and judgment: concerning sin, because they do not
believe in me; concerning righteousness, because I go to the
Father, and you will see me no more; concerning judgment,
because the ruler of this world is judged. "I have yet many
things to say to you, but you cannot bear them now. When the
[Pneuma] Spirit of truth comes, he will guide you into all the
truth; for he will not speak on his own authority, but whatever
he hears he will speak, and he will declare to you the things
that are to come. He will glorify me, for he will take what is
mine and declare it to you. All that the Father has is mine;
therefore I said that he will take what is mine and declare it
to you.
- John 20:22
-
And when he had said this, he breathed on them, and said to
them, "Receive [Pneuma] [Hagios] the Holy Spirit.
